Eggs in pepper rings


- 6 eggs
- 2 red peppers
- 2 yellow peppers
- 6 thin slices of Fontina cheese (optional)
- salt and pepper to taste.


• Wash and dry the peppers, then cut each one into four rings (approx. 1.5 cm thick).
Remove the seeds and membranes, then grease them and brown them on the Multiplate grill pan for 2 minutes on each side.
• Break the eggs and pour one into the centre of each pepper ring, trying to keep the yolks intact. Cook for about 2 minutes, and then take care to add salt to the egg whites only. Cover with a slice of Fontina cheese (optional).
• Use a fish slice to place the rings on a warmed dish and then serve
